In Orbit – Evergrey

A banda por si só já é sensacional, mas não foi o suficiente. Tiveram que gravar uma música com a Floor Jansen, cantora lírica e atual vocalista da banda de metal sinfônico Nightwish. O resultado é isso: sem palavras. Que dueto!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

(letra logo após o vídeo)

In Orbit – Evergrey

I’m caught here in this vacuum
I’m fallen from a sunless sky
I’ve red myself from value

And leave this emptiness behind
So I run, before it’s over
I run, but still I believe, it seems
I run, but not getting closer
I run, to get away from this dream

I’ve been watching you from a distance
I’ve been monitoring you from cloudless skies
I’ve been calling your name just to ease your resistance
But nothing seems to shift your darkened sky

I run, before it’s over
I run, but still I believe, it seems
I run, but not getting closer
I run, to get away from this dream

I’m an orbit, stars exploding, when I call your name
Here in the dark I’m lonely
You’re my compass, the only reason to stay

I run, before it’s over
I run, but still I believe, it seems
I run, but not getting closer
And I run, to get away from this dream
I run, but not getting closer
I run, but still I believe, it seems
RUN!

Distance – Evergrey

Música para acalmar a alma, claro. Apesar de alguns não gostarem do som pesado, a letra é sensacional. 🙂

It’s lost but we’ll find it again
We must try even if it’s a distant future
It was all in in our hands to the ends
I just wish we had known so much sooner

It’s not over
We’ll soon be closer than before
Can’t let this distance
Keep our destined souls apart

There’s so much I would have shared if I could
But my reaching was not getting through to you
So many times when I was misunderstood
I just wish we had spoken so much sooner

It’s not over
We’ll soon be closer than before
Can’t let this distance
Keep our destined souls apart

We were caught in a swirl of a devious tide
Where I wish I could have guided us through the nocturnal
And I would have ran with you towards the light
Instead I was drawn further and further away

It’s not over…
